Test Results

Please ring 264011 after 2.00pm for test results as this gives the Doctors time to interpret the report from the Lab.

Prescriptions Online

We intend to introduce a more tailored service for those patients whose condition and medication allows, which will reduce the need to request repeat prescriptions (This will be known as Repeat Dispensing). Your doctor will assess if this new service will be in your best interests from a clinical effectiveness perspective.

Dr Cox

We would like to let you know that Dr Cox will be taking leave of absence in order to have a surgical procedure. We expect her to be away for 3 months from the 26th January 2012 and her locum will be Dr Liz Burrin.

GP Surgery in Petersfield Swan Surgery
We are a seven partner Practice situated in purpose-built premises close to the centre of town.There are four full-time partners and three part-time female partners who work at the surgery. All offer full general medical services.

We have a full nursing team of practice nurses and health care assistants who provide a full range of services in their own right as well as supporting the doctors in the management of chronic disease.

We also have retained doctors and GP registrars who are fully qualified doctors working at the surgery. The registrars are doing their final year of vocational training as GPs. They are supervised by two partners who have trained in GP education.

From time to time we employ locum doctors and nurses to cover planned absence from the practice. These are very carefully arranged and vetted.

We are occasionally involved with the training of medical students and nurses. You are free to say if you would prefer a student not to be present.
