When you are given a medicine to take long term, you will be given a computer printed slip on the right of your prescription. Please leave this repeat prescription slip at the surgery indicating which medicines you need. If you prefer you may post your slip to us, enclosing your request and a stamped, addressed envelope for a prompt return to you. However if you have an online account with us you can much more conveniently order your repeat prescriptions on-line. You may collect your prescription 48 hours later. Please only request the medicines you need.

We can arrange for your prescription to be sent to any of the local chemists. Let the receptionist know if you would like to make use of this service. If you do use the chemist's collection system please allow an additional 24 hours.

WE REGRET WE DO NOT TAKE REPEAT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS OVER THE TELEPHONE.

Patients requiring repeat medications need to make an annual appointment with their GP to review their medication.

We intend to introduce, during 2009, a more tailored service for those patients whose condition and medication allows, which will reduce the need to request repeat prescriptions (This will be known as Repeat Dispensing). Your doctor will assess if this new service will be in your best interests from a clinical effectiveness perspective.

We now offer a range of services using 'EMIS ACCESS' which enables you to book appointments and order repeat prescriptions online, to register please complete t he relevant documents by using the links below:
